Main Hall

The Main Hall is an ideal room for parties, weddings, christenings, funerals, corporate meetings and events. The ground level Hall incorporates a large wooden dance floor, carpeted seating areas, natural lighting, bar, private toilets, disabled toilet, baby changing facilities, adjustable heating, lighting and air conditioning, the Hall also boasts free Wi-fi, an integrated sound, television and public announcement system.

Accommodation and equipment available for hire:

  • Off road parking at rear of Centre
  • Dance floor, Bar, Kitchen and toilets
  • Free WiFi facility
  • Integrated sound, television and PA system.

What we will provide:

  • The required area cleaned in preparation for your use
  • Heating lighting and power (as appropriate)
  • Bar staff (as required to numbers).

Booking Costs

  • Hall hire is by the hour - £35 per hour, although charges may vary depending on the hire purpose. Please contact the manager, Brian Dempsey.
  • There is a £35 surcharge if the Hirer wishes to bring in their own food.
  • Kitchen: If the Hirer wants to prepare their own food there is a £16/hr fee or £50 per hire duration.


Owing to Fire Regulations we can accommodate up to 150 guests theatre style in the Main Hall, or our twelve, five feet circular tables can be furnished to your requirements, comfortably seating 120 guests cabaret style.

Use of the bar

Use of the bar facilities by patrons and guests at functions should be arranged in advance with the Manager (please indicate on the booking form). No alcohol or other beverage is to be brought onto the premises by the Hirer or their guests, without prior discussion and or agreement with the Manager. Separate charges will apply. Should you wish to order a particular type of wine, orders must be made one month in advance with the Parish Centre Manager.

Bar extensions and duration of events

The Bar & Entertainments Licence is restricted to NO LATER THAN 12 midnight and the building must be vacated in a quiet manner by 12.30 am.


We can provide linen table cloths at a charge of £4.50/table and other table decorations as required. In addition, you may decorate the rooms to your own requirements. (However, due to potential damage and injury, and difficulty in cleaning up, we ask that party poppers, pyrotechnics or table glitter are not used for events, and only blutac is used for displays).
